The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America - Michigan Chapter
(AAFA-MI) has been a trusted source for information, education and training
since 1984. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals in the
State of Michigan affected with asthma and allergic diseases by promoting
awareness through education and training.
AAFA-MI has been a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization since 1984. We are
part of a National group that was founded in 1953. We know that asthma
and allergic disorders are devastating health problems that affect over 60
million American's. That's more than diabetes, heart disease, cancer,
stroke, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's COMBINED!
Nevertheless, through reliable education, training and community support,
proper management can happen and quality of life will improve. Further, we
provide an important vehicle through which individuals organize and work
together to improve our community.
We're here to help those affected by asthma and allergies to "...live a life
without limits!"
