Asthma Management & Education - Online (AME-O)©

This program designed to bring the clinician current information on pathophysiology of asthma and allergy;  treatment methods; effective techniques for patient education; and ways to prevent asthma episodes.

Course is intended for nurses and respiratory therapists and 8.75 CEU's will be granted upon successful completion. 

 

Only 30 scholarships available! Our target audience is Primary Care and Child & Adolescent Health Center staff (course normally costs $35).

Asthma Project - Detroit:  Control Your Asthma with Propeller

If your child has asthma and is between 6 - 13 years old, and you live in zip code areas 48209, 48210, 48216 or 48217,

you may be interested in helping them get better control over the asthma.

This project is testing out the use of a special adapter that fits on the inhaler and can alert you to problem areas.
